Below you will find a list of questions that we get asked reguarlly.
What geographical area do you cover?
Crest Alloys is based in the town of New Milton - between Bournemouth and Southampton.
We have customers send us their wheels from all over the country. If you'd like us to collect your wheels we operate this services in the area between Weymouth and Portsmouth and as north as Sailsbury.
Why not just use a mobile smart repairer?
A smart repairer offers a cosmetic touch up to the appearance of your wheel. They will sand down and paint over existing damage. As the corrosion remains underneath it's only a matter of time before the paint will look flakey and the corrosion will reappear.
For the same price, or even less, Crest Alloys will carry out a complete alloy refurbishment removing all forms of corrosion and damage. This will make you wheels look as a good as new - with a 1 year guarantee.
How long does the process take?
The process will take between 1 and 4 days depending on the amount of damage and the type of wheel.
What guarantee do you offer?
All of our refurbished wheels come with a 12 month guarantee.
Can you refurbish diamond cut wheels?
Yes. We use the latest diamond cutting copy lathe techniques to give your wheels that showroom finish.
Can you fit new tyres?
Yes. We offer excellent prices on all tyre ranges from budget to performance.
I need transport whilst you refurbish my wheels, how can you help?
We understand it's a pain to without a car so we have a couple of options to help. If you are in our catchment area (Weymouth, Bournemouth, Sailsbury, Southampton, Portsmouth), we can collect the wheels from you. Alternatively, drive your car to us and we can arrange a preferential rate for a hire car for you.
How much does it cost?
Please contact us for a price as we run promotions for retail and trade reguarly, but to give a guide price, a fully refurbished set of wheels can cost as low as £160 all in.
Compare this to other repairers who do not include "extras" in the price and you will find that not only do we offer some of the best prices in the country, but also the best quality and finish to your wheels.
Do you reburbish wheels for trade?
Yes. We offer competitive rates for volume orders. To show you just how good we are, we will refurbish the first set absolutely free!
What types of car do you refurbish?
We have experience in repairing wheels for all the major manufacturers from Ford to Ferrari. We have also worked on old classic Morgans to brand new Minis!
